Some men’s responses to an article titled “What does a “strong female character” mean?” from Comic Book Resources.
If you fail to see the issue with these, or the term “strong female character” itself, ask yourself this, why isn’t there such a thing as the term a “strong male character”? Because male character’s have not been demonstrated as wildly weak and incapable in most media, like women have. Women can be weak, they can be strong; being strong is not a male owned quality and it is not limited to physical strength like most “strong female characters” are limited to be. Thoughts?
